A guy from Oregon named Stu MacDonald, has battled cancer twice, and both times beat it! Apparently he's in remission now, and everything's good. If that isn't great news he decided to play the lottery and won $4.6 Million, according to KPTV.
Stu and his wife have a tradition. Every time Stu goes to buy a lottery ticket, she jokingly tells him to "get the winning ticket." This time was different though, she forgot to tell him and he WON!
When you win the lottery you can take it in installments or one lump sum. They decided to take the lump sum of $2.3 million. So after taxes, they took home just under $1.6 million. Stu says that after two cancer scares and now this, he knows he's a "very lucky guy."
If this guy wants to give any betting advice, I will gladly take it!
