Ahhh... it's October in Minnesota and that means going to pumpkin patches, and apple orchards to get those likes instagram likes. Most of us will also be sitting around a fire, drinking with your friends on the weekends, or you might be enjoying the fall colors that Minnesota has to offer! Sounds like the perfect way to do Fall... right? Nope! That is wrong, wrong wrong if you're Betty Danger's in northeast, who has decided to skip spooky szn, my favorite holiday Thanksgiving (because food), and go directly to Christmas! October in Minnesota means the return of Mary's Christmas Palace, according to TwinCities.com.
Now, if you're like me and wondering who Mary is, according to CityPages, Betty has a sub-personality named Mary, who only emerges in the fall. Apparently, Mary is starting very early with the holiday cheer by "steamrolling" every holiday between now and December. The Christmas decorations at Betty D... I mean Mary's Christmas Palace will be up now until December 31st, and I am all for it!
The menu will also change a little bit, featuring some festive drinks every weeknight and all day weekends. There will also be Christmastime eats and on Saturday and Sunday there will be a Christmas brunch. You also can't be in the Christmas spirit without some Christmas songs which will fill the Christmas Palace as well as roaring fires from a yule log!
One last thing, you can't forget Betty Danger's Bizarre Bazaar on December 7th that will feature "local artists peddling holiday flair" according to their Facebook Event.
Now if you don't mind me, I'll be grabbing my Santa hat and glass moose mug and heading to Mary's Christmas Palace.
