When I moved to Minnesota from Chicago, one of the things I missed was the food! I had heard that there was only one Portillo's location in Minnesota, so about once a week I would drive there. Over the years two more locations opened up! One of them being in Maple Grove, about 5 minutes from my house!
If you haven't been to Portillo's you're missing out, it's a restaurant chain that is based in the Chicago area and serves Chicago-style food like hot dogs, beef sandwiches, and other great Chicago food. If you want to know my order it's a dipped beef sandwich, cheese fries, and a chocolate cake shake!
