Do you remember a while back when the news came out that the founder of Papa John's says he ate 40 pizzas in 30 days? Last month he actually admitted that he didn't do it.
So a writer named Brian VanHooker from Mel Magazine decided to actually do it, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! Brian decided to do it just to spite Papa John. Brian just posted an article chronicling all 30 days, and yes he did it, he manage to put down 40 pizzas. WELL DONE YOUNG MAN *said in Paul Allen voice*
While taking down the pizzas, he did have a rule that they had to be at least eight inches in diameter, but beyond that, it could be from anywhere. He wound up making pizzas at home, eating frozen pizzas, trying every chain, and even hitting legendary spots in New York. However, Brian did struggle in the middle with some fatigue he says, and he also said that he never really got sick of pizza. I mean who would ever get sick of pizza?
Not only was he taking down pizza day after day, he also said that he upped his exercising during the month because of all the pizza he was eating and the way it was making him feel, he actually wound up losing three pounds. So wait, if you exercise and eat pizza you lose weight? I have been doing this diet thing all wrong!
