I am a huge fan of the Hunger Games movies! I was really hoping that we would get another movie after Mockingjay Part 2. From the sound of it, we are getting another Hunger Games movie!
The Hunger Games franchise is officially getting another movie... prequel! It will be called, The "Ballad Of Songbirds and Snakes." I have a few questions though about this prequel. Will the prequel take place before the Hunger Games are even invented? Will we get to see the Capitol decide to start them? Will it be about the first ever Hunger Games? I need some answers!
According to Entertainment Weekly, the prequel will be about a young Coriolanus Snow when he was 18. So the movie will take place years before Snow becomes President of Panem. The movie will basically be about Snow being picked to be a mentor for the 10th annual Hunger Games. However, his happiness will get turned upside down when the female tribute he gets assigned is from District 12. Soooo, that's why he's got strong feelings for District 12, it makes sense now!
If you were wondering the director for Catching Fire and Mockingjay Part 1 and 2 will be directing this prequel so we'll get the same Hunger Games feel for this prequel! I guess we'll have to wait and see about this movie and may the odds be ever in our favor!
