A Proposal For The 2020 MLB Season Has Been Approved By MLB Owners

OMG! OMG! OMG! It's happening, this is not a drill!

Ken Rosenthal has delivered the news baseball fans (including myself) have been wanting to hear for quite some time. Rosenthal tweeted out, "MLB owners have approved a proposal for the 2020 season to present to the players’ union, source tells The Athletic. Meeting expected between union and league tomorrow."

As of right now what the proposal states is still a mystery but I'm sure as the day goes on today. According to Bleacher Nation the proposal does include at the most an 82 game schedule, the roster would expand to 30 players, teams will play in their normal divisions, but have a limited schedule, there would be a universal DH.. yeah that means the DH will finally be in the NL. Also in the proposal will be expanded playoffs, and a Spring Training Part Two kicking off next month at home parks or spring facilities.

Now, I for one am excited the owners approved the proposal, but nothing is final yet. It still has to be approved by the players' union. As for now, we are one step closer to have baseball back in our lives!
