Taco Bell Removes Mexican Pizza Along With A Few Other Menu Items

Ya know, I was okay with Taco Bell when they removed a bunch of their menu items, I was okay because they didn't touch the Mexican Pizza. They knew the Mexican Pizza was a Taco Bell classic, and now today I mourn the loss of the Mexican Pizza.

Taco Bell has announced that they will remove even more menu items, according to CNBC. Mexican Pizza, pico de gallo and shredded chicken will depart Taco Bell restaurants on Nov. 5. The reason for the removal of the Mexican Pizza is the packaging for the pizza has accounted for more than 7 million pounds of paperboard annually in the U.S. With the removal of the Mexican Pizza that means it will help Taco Bell inch closer to its sustainability goals.

You might be thinking, "Okay they are only removing the Mexican Pizza." With the removal of shredded chicken. That means Shredded Chicken Soft Taco, Shredded Chicken Burrito and Shredded Chicken Quesadilla Melt are gone as well.
