We're here in the State Of Hockey know when someone yells "shoot" they are probably referring to hockey and want their team to shoot, however that's not the case if you live in Florida.
I honestly don't blame this person one bit for calling the cops. Living in Florida, you never know what's going to happen and it's 2020! Someone in Tampa, Florida heard their neighbors yelling, quote, "Shoot! Shoot!" and "I dare you to shoot!" So they called the cops, according to Tampa Bay Times. Four cops came to the scene to see what was happening.
It turned out the people yelling "shoot" were watching the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey game since they are in the Stanley Cup Final against the Dallas Stars, and were screaming at the players to shoot the puck!
In the neighbor's defense, if I heard someone yelling "shoot!" in Florida, I'd also think of guns before hockey. Anyway, fortunately everyone laughed it off, and the people who called the cops even wound up buying some beer for their neighbors.
