The last time the Twins won a postseason game was in 2004! In case you were wondering, at the top of the country billboard charts was Keith Urban's Days Go By, Facebook was launched from Mark Zuckerberg's dorm room, and Shrek 2 was the most popular movie.
That's the stat that everyone in baseball has been talking about over the past two days. The Twins went into Wednesday's game with a 17 postseason game losing streak. They end up losing to the Houston Astros 3-1. They now have the record at 18 games for the longest stretch of playoff losses in MLB, NFL, NBA, and the NHL. The original record holder with a 16-game losing streak was the Chicago Blackhawks from 1975 to 1979.
There's always next year....
