I've heard of overly obsessive fans naming their babies after their favorite celebrity or musician, but this takes the cake!
A 30-year-old man named Thomas Dodd from England, legally changed his name to Celine Dion, according to Metro. Allegedly, Thomas got super drunk on Christmas Eve and decided to legally change his name. So why did he chose, Celine Dion as his new name? Turns out he was watching a Celine Dion concert on TV at the time, and he filled out an online application, paid a $120 fee and then went to sleep and forgot all about it!
Then last week, he found an envelope in his mailbox with papers certifying his name change from Thomas Dodd to Celine Dion. He says he's planning to keep the name, quote, "depending on how difficult it makes my life."
