This Sunday is the perfect day to have a cheat day from your diet. The Big Game will be on and there will be food galore like, pizza, appetizers, chips and dip, and my personal favorite wings! There's nothing like eating wings during a football game and dipping them in blue cheese!
According to the National Chicken Council Americans are projected to consume 1.42 billion chicken wings during the Big Game this Sunday. That number is up 2% from last year. My guess for the number rising is that more people will be staying home this year.
Now, if you were to eat 3 chicken wings per minute, it would take you more than 900 years to consume 1.42 billion chicken wings. Another crazy fact is that 1.42 billion chicken wings could circle the circumference of the Earth 3 times, and if you laid 1.42 billion chicken wings end to end it would stretch 19 times from Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fl.
