So last month it was a lawyer that had a cat filter that was making its rounds on social media, and now is a recorded zoom call of a surgeon performing an operation during a zoom traffic court appearance.
Apparently, Traffic trials are required by law to be open to the public. With limited access to courtrooms due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Sacramento Superior Court proceedings are livestreamed and posted to YouTube, according to The Sacramento Bee.
The surgeon's name is Scott Green who appeared before the Sacramento Traffic Court while performing an operation. The Judge on the case stated, “So unless I’m mistaken, I’m seeing a defendant that’s in the middle of an operating room appearing to be actively engaged in providing services to a patient. Is that correct, Mr. Green? Or should I say Dr. Green?” You can watch some of the video below.
