When you watch the movie and get to this thing you obviously think... there is no way that can happen! Well, it did and two guys actually recreated the scene and really drove from Nebraska to Aspen.
The drive is 382 miles over three days, rose 15,000 feet in elevation, went through two and a half rear tires, spent $22 on gas, and averaged 54 miles per gallon.
