Last night was my favorite thing about the All-Star festivities, the Home Run Derby. There was Pete Alonso who was trying to win back to back Home Run Derby's, you had the phenom Shohei Ohtani who is going to bat lead off and pitch for the AL in the All-Star Game, and you had Trey Mancini who beat colon cancer and has been crushing the baseball. Those are the 3 players I love watching hit, and even better the Home Run Derby was in Colorado which means the ball would be flying, and that's exactly what it did. Juan Soto had the longest dinger of the night with a mammoth 520 foot blast! But there was one play in the Home Run Derby which I'm sure happens a lot but has never made it until now. During Matt Olson's at bat he hit a home run to right field and it was by where a tunnel was a guy reached over the railing and his momentum carried him and up and over he went.
