Oh look at the time, it's Beer Thirty! Remember back in college when you would find the cheapest to drink because you were a college kid and money... well you didn't have a lot of it. Like when I would go visit my buddy in college we would always drink Boxer Light. Never heard of the brand but it was cheap and came in a 36 pack or something like that.
Some people who work at Workshopiopedia figured out what are the most popular cheap beers, state-by-state, according to Best Life. They went so far as to call them “trashy beers.” But lets be real, some of these beers we drink today! When I think of cheap beers, I think of off name brand, not name brand beers! Apparently, Natty Light ranks high in many states. So does Michelob Ultra. Not surprisingly, many states also enjoy Coors Light, Miller Lite and Keystone Light.
Some outsiders include Yuengling, National Bohemian, Stroh's, Busch and Pabst Blue Ribbon -- among others.
Here in Minnesota the most popular cheap beer is Coors Light, and in Wisconsin, the most popular cheap beer is Old Style.
I'll be honest, but whoever made this list doesn't know cheap beer!
