You won't be getting drunk on this plane! While other airlines have started to serve alcohol again during flights, American Airlines is still not quite convinced that passengers will behave, so they will not be serving alcohol on flights until 2022, according to USA Today.
American Airlines had planned to bring alcohol back on September 13th. Unfortunately, that changed and now they don’t plan to resume alcohol sales in the main cabin until January 18th. The timeline is tied to the federal mask mandate for public transportation, which was recently extended until that date.
