Look, I like ice fishing as much as the next person. There's something about being out on the ice with your buddies and drinking and catching fish.
Well, since the temps have been below freezing overnight the past couple of days, doesn't mean the ice on the lake is ready. Barron County Sheriff's Department in Barron Wisconsin posted a photo of a truck with an ice house attached in a lake. They posted the photo to their Facebook page with the caption, "Where do we being with this one... Look, OK yeah it got below freezing the last couple of nights, and OK yeah the frost has made an appearance, and sure we love ice fishing as much as everyone else... BUT, and this is important.... THE.ICE.IS.NOT.READY.YET..."
The department also noted that yes alcohol was involved in the crash, and wanted to also let everyone know to keep the shacks at home until the ice is ready. You can see more of Barron County Sheriff's Department post below.
