I was scrolling through Instagram last night and I came across a post from @wheredidmyvodkago (don't judge) and it said, ATTENTION Harry POTTER FANS: Was today years old when I realized that if I say "Lumos" to my phone, the flashlight turns on." I decided to try it and it wasn't working and then I realized, in order to turn your flashlight on depending on your settings you either say, "Hey Siri, Lumos," or hold the right side button and say, "Hey Siri, Lumos!" Your flashlight will turn on and in order to turn it off you do the same thing except you say "Hey Siri, Nox!"
For those that don't follow Harry Potter, "Lumos" is the wand-lighting charm that is used to illuminated the tip of the caster's wand. It allows whoever is casting the spell to see in the dark. According to Tyla.com, In the Harry Potter Franchise Levina Monkstanley invented the Wand-Lightin Charm in the 18th century and it was first used publicly in the Ministry of Magic in 1772.
