It's National Hot Dog Day and honestly it's a little sad that we can't celebrate at a ball park since baseball is on their All-Star Break. But if you want hot dogs, I highly recommend these two places in the Twin Cities.
The first place if you want a real good Chicago Hot Dog is Portillo's there are 3 Portillo's locations in Minnesota. There's one in Woodbury, Roseville, and Maple Grove (the one I go to). While they don't have any specials today, they have been celebrating National Hot Dog Week where you can enter to win a pair of Portillo's Crocs and they are offering free delivery.
Another place to go is the Chicago Taste Authority in Minneapolis and they have a special today. You can get a Chicago dog for 10 cents with a purchase of a large drink and large fry.
