An English woman with a handy husband has come up with a clever way to earn some extra money, by renting him out to other women. Laura Young’s husband, James, has a lot of DIY skills, and she knows there are many women who don't have someone as handy around to fix things in the home.
So, she created Rent My Handy Husband. For about $44 an hour, he'll come over and take care of any house projects that need to get done, including painting, tiling, construction, and even decorating. They started this back in January and business has really taken off.
