Seems like inflation is everywhere and it's even hitting the Starbucks rewards points.
According to Delish, the increase will be like this: For those who like to use their stars on much simpler menu items like free coffee, tea, and baked goods, we've got bad news for you: Once the Starbucks rewards points update is in place in February 2023, you'll have to use 100 stars for those items instead of just 50 stars like you can now.
And if you prefer to save your stars for more pricey options like handcrafted Starbucks drinks or hot breakfast items, you might want to work on saving more stars now. Those items, along with cold brews and lattes, will now require 200 stars instead of the current 150 stars. Lunch salads and sandwiches will also see a sizable increase at 300 stars (previously 200 stars).
