MLB has been all about its NEW RULES this season and now, that's apparently extending OFF the field. According to USA Today, on the Fourth of July, four Major League ballparks will "treat" fans to PEPSI-FLAVORED KETCHUP. It's part of Pepsi's #BetterWithPepsi campaign, where they're drumming up publicity by hyping crazy combinations.
Someone at Pepsi says, "The distinctive flavors and vibrant citrus blend of Pepsi enhances the bright and tangy characteristics of ketchup, offsetting the smokiness of the hot dog." The ketchup is actually "infused" with Pepsi. It will be available at four ballparks, and one of them is Target Field on the Fourth of July when the Twins host the Royals. The other fields are the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Detroit Tigers, and the New York Yankees.
