Brazilian surfer Maya Gabeira broke her own world record for the largest wave surfed by a woman. Gabeira rode a 73-and-a-half-foot wave near Praia do Norte in Portugal, beating her previous record by five-and-a-half feet. The record is the real deal as scientists reviewed videos of the feat so it could be confirmed by Guinness World Records.
