How Much Money Aaron Rodgers Loses Out On Missing Packers' Camps

The Green Bay Packers started minicamp yesterday WITHOUT AARON RODGERS. This is the first time in his 16-year career that he's been a holdout. This isn't a big surprise . . . Aaron already skipped all three phases of the Packers' voluntary workout sessions. After this camp, the next mandatory reporting date is the July 27th kickoff for training camp.

By skipping those workouts, Aaron basically forfeited a $500,000 bonus. The team can also fine him $93,000 for missing minicamp. If he skips training camp, he can be fined $50,000 per day.

If he's still holding out by then, that's a sure sign that he's digging in. In the meantime, backup QB JORDAN LOVE is getting all the reps during practice.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur says, quote, "It is what it is, man. We'll focus and we'll control and work on the guys that are here and try to help them become the best to their ability and coach the heck out of them." (NFL.com)
