It's "CrockToberFest" Yo! This has become an annual event in our neighborhood and with friends. Every year, we get our neighbors and friends together armed with Crock Pots and cocktails.
Everyone discusses what they plan to make in their Crock Pots.....Everything from meat or chicken, mac-n-cheese, dips and deserts. Early in the morning Crock Pots arrive and get plugged in (likely a cocktail is enjoyed). After the plug in cocktails, everyone goes to their homes while the greatest "Pot Pourri" of Crock Pot smells fill the house or garage. Occasionally, neighbors will show up to check on their creations and how it's coming along (yes probably another cocktail).
Finally, as the greatest of aromas are wafting throughout the house, everyone comes over and we feast and celebrate "CrockToberFest"!
We like to have themes for every year. We have even created shirts with "Rock Out With Your Crock Out" (still my favorite).
It is a yearly highlight! Get creative, get together and celebrate "CrockToberFest"!
