Luke Grimes aka Kayce Dutton on Yellowstone, is chasing a dream of a music career in Nashville!
Prior to becoming a Yellowstone star, Grimes served as a drummer for a Los Angeles Country band. “It was around that time when the alt-country thing was really going on. Wilco and Ryan Adams were really big then and we were kind of like that,” he said. “I played guitar too and helped write songs for the band, so I got to be more than just the drummer. It was a cool experience.”
Grimes has already put together quite the team. Working with the management team behind Midland, Hailey Whitters, and his Yellowstone co-star Ryan Bingham, Grimes has already written several new songs and is scheduled to take part in co-writing sessions in Nashville.
Luke Grimes would be the 3rd Yellowstone actor that has and/or is working a music career.....Ryan Bingham & Kevin Costner!
