How & Where To Celebrate 4th Of July In The Twin Cities!

It's one of the best days on Prior Lake! My friends at The Knotty Oar Marina help put on The Boat Parade in the early afternoon.....friends and families decorate their boats & pontoons while parading around the lake. Then later that evening fireworks are shot off Lakefront Beach. There is nothing more spectacular then sitting on a boat, in the middle of the lake, and watching one of the best fireworks shows!

For over 50 years, Eagan’s July 4th Funfest has been celebrating freedom and fun by featuring fantastic food, exceptional entertainment, a carnival for the kids, an exciting Ambassadors coronation, one of the largest parades in the Twin Cities, and of course an amazing array of fireworks.

BLOOMINGTON

Celebrate Independence Day at Bloomington's Summer Fete at Normandale Lake Park on July 3, which starts at 5:30 p.m. and winds down at 10:30. 

COON RAPIDS

Celebrate Independence Day with a two-day celebration July 3 – 4 with fireworks on July 4 at 10 p.m. on the grounds of the Coon Rapids Ice Center and some seating is available on the grounds of Anoka-Ramsey Community College.

EXCELSIOR

Celebrate Independence Day and enjoy the only public fireworks display over Lake Minnetonka. Explore downtown Excelsior and support local businesses or join the kids parade at 11 a.m. Find a spot in Commons Park or near the water to see the fireworks at dusk on july 4.

Find your favorite carnival games, rides and foods at the weekend celebration in Lakeside Memorial Park. Fireworks will be on display July 4 at 10 p.m.

WOODBURY

Celebrate the holiday with inflatable games, concessions and live music from The Thrillbillies, an upbeat country cover band. Fireworks will be on display at 10 p.m. on July 4 at HealthEast Sport Center.
