Tragedy Strikes After Taylor Swift Concert - Fans Rally in Support

Tragedy struck for one Taylor Swift fan after attending her concert in Houston. Jacob Lewis, 20, left the show with his sister and their car broke down. Unfortunately, Jacob was struck and killed by a suspected drunk driver, Alan Bryant Hayes. As news of Jacob's death spread, Swifties rallied together to support his family.

A GoFundMe account was set up in Jacob's honor with a goal of $75,000 to help cover funeral costs. However, the generosity of Swifties quickly surpassed the initial goal, with donations reaching $127,454 and growing. Fans even made special donations of $13, in reference to Taylor's lucky number.

Jacob was a dedicated Pokémon player who had even completed the World Championship. Members of the Pokémon community also came out in support of Jacob, donating to the GoFundMe and sharing their condolences.

Meanwhile, Hayes reportedly fled the scene after the accident. Fortunately, a heroic tow truck driver followed Hayes, leading police to track him down. Hayes is charged with DWI and failure to stop and render aid.

While the loss of Jacob is devastating, the outpouring of love and support from the Swiftie and Pokémon communities is a reminder that kindness and compassion can go a long way in times of tragedy.
