Brett Eldredge confirmed details about his upcoming 5-track EP on Wednesday morning (February 19).
The country singer-songwriter said his new project, Lonestar Lovers, is due to arrive on March 14. Eldredge has already released the first two tracks, âGorgeousâ and âYouâll Be Mine.â The next three that will appear on Lonestar Lovers will âblow ya mind,â Eldredge wrote in an Instagram caption on Wednesday.
Eldredge said in late December that he aimed âto really shake things upâ and âpush myselfâ with his new music. He said in a post at that time: âIâve been thinkin of different ways to really shake things up with my life and Music. Every time I push myself wayyyy out of my comfort zone I feel the most aliveâŚI have done this personally and now musically with what I am about to hit ya with this yearâŚI feel loved and accepted more than ever and I feel empowered to put out music in unconventional ways that many may not expect but I know you are gonna loveâŚthere will be multiple different styles and sounds, taking you around the globe with me on a musical journey from beaches, to mountains to evening strolls under city street lightsâŚthis is going to be a lot of funâŚhereâs to the next chapter, coming verrrry sooooon.â
Eldredge added when he announced the release date of âGorgeousâ that his new music is âunlike anything Iâve ever done.â âGorgeousâ arrived on January 3, and served as a heartfelt âreminder of the gorgeous person that you are, even on your worst days, you are more than enough, youâre Gorgeous,â Eldredge wrote at the time.
âYouâll Be Mineâ released on February 7. Eldredge said the song âbrings me joy. It calms me through the storms and reminds me to open my heart every day even when itâs scary to. It reminds me of all of the times that I didnât give up on love and it reminds me to tell you that YOU shouldnât either. I loved writing this song, and now itâs time to share this part of me with you.â
